CHARLES W. BOWSER AWARD - 2012
In honor of NEP's 15th birthday, during an online international gathering, the Honorable Ehsanullah Ehsan was awarded with NEP's highest honor. Mr. Ehsan earned this by starting career academies in Afghanistan, and promoting equal opportunity and education for young Afghan women. This video was used as introduction and background on both Charles W. Bowser and Ehsanullah Ehsan.

The announcement from the NEP Lab School in New York City on October 1, 2010 changed the trajectory of career academies forever. The first Philadelphia-model career academy outside of the United States was kicking off in Kandahar, Afghanistan!
