What's the refund policy?
All but $110 of registrations are refundable up to January 13, 2019. Unfortunately, no refunds will be allowed on or after January 14, 2019.

Who should attend?
The Leadership Strand is ideal for policy-makers, school and district administrators, guidance counselors, grant administrators, and community partners for schools. The Teaching Strand is beneficial for classroom teachers and school leaders for grades K-16.

Can I attend if I am not a woman?
Of course! Creating opportunity for women in STEM fields is not just a women's issue. It takes all of us working together.

What should I wear?
Florida in February can be unpredictable. Due to the hands-on nature of many of the conference sessions, comfortable clothing is recommended. No need to impress anyone. Dress for Florida, but have a sweater or jacket for cold meeting rooms, or the occassional cold front that can come through this time of year.

Can I get Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)?
Yes. The National Educator Program (NEP) is a professional development agency and can provide a certificate upon request. The conference counts for 21 hours of seat time.

I'm not renting a car. How do I arrange transportation to Disney parks?
The Disney Springs Village is right across the street from the conference hotel, so it's walking distance. A Disney Shuttle Bus stops at regular intervals in front of the hotel to provide free transportation to the Magic Kingdom and the monorail depot to other parks like Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.

Is it appropriate to bring my family?
Appropriate and encouraged. Your spouse and children will have plenty to do while you are in sessions. Conference hotel room rates are good throughout the entire Presidents' Day weekend, putting all of Orlando and Central Florida beaches at your disposal.

If this is an international conference, what nations are represented?
We expect participation from educators and STEM professionals from the U.S., Canada, Russia, Afghanistan, Colombia, and more!
