Join a global group of educators at NEP’s 15th Career Academy World Conference as we explore current issues in education as they relate to career academies and K-16 student achievement! Nations joining us include Afghanistan, Canada, Croatia, South Africa, United Kingdom, the United States, and more.
Aboard the historic Queen Mary, you will experience NEP’s customizable and experience personalized to the specific needs of you and your team. Sessions are highly interactive, inspiring and practical. Sessions are divided into three strands:
The Leadership Strand for systemic change and sustainability issues
The Classroom Strand for using career academy and small learning community structures for their maximum effect on student achievement
The Field Strand for experiences from the field, as schools discuss their triumphs and challenges in their own implementation

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
For domestic flights within the United States to the Career Academies World Conference, you have two options:
Los Angeles International (LAX) serves all major airlines and is only about a forty-minute drive (depending on traffic).
Long Beach Airport (LGB) is only about a ten-minute drive and serves Alaska Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, and US Airways. For a current list of airlines and destinations they serve, follow this link.
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
For international flights into the United States, you will want to use Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
